Horticulture 2000 - 2003 (Management)

HorticultureWorking closely with the band in Tempe, Arizona for nearly 3 years, Horticulture was the first experience booking and managing a musical group. What started as a humble beginning as the bands web designer, eventually turned into assistance in booking shows. Once in the swing of booking gigs, focus shifted towards the merchandising department, printing tee-shirts to sell at shows. Emphasis was being put on production of a studio album, but after conversations with the band, and urging them to record a live performance for mastering, they did just that. The end result was three full hours of beautifully mastered 24 track ADAT recordings courtesy of Jim Hornaday at Dreamcatcher studios in Tempe, Arizona. After hours upon hours of post production work, Horticulture released their first album “Live”. Regional gigs and festivals began to come to the forefront of the band’s “to do list” and the scene was growing with the eclectic, energetic and improvisational jams of Horticulture
